Matchy Matchy

My sister-in-law Merrick made the girls matching dresses for Christmas. This is the first time I've dressed them in the same outfit and I must say, I love it. I only wish I had the same cute tights Clara is wearing in Abby's size.

Abby Speaks

While playing with a Noah's ark set...
Grampy White: "Do we know what Noah's wife was named."
Google search ensues.
Me: "It is thought to be Namah."
Grampy White: "Namah?"
Abby: "I'm Abby."

After Abby had a particularly grumpy day, Sam came home from school...
Abby: "No daddy. Stop it coming home."

While walking from the car into the library...
Abby: "Goodness, my drawers are falling down."

While singing in the car, she made her own medley of "I Am a Child of God" and "Jingle Bells"...
Abby: "I am a child all the way. Hey!"

Abby: "I'm going to work. I'm going to eat doughnuts at work."

Me: "Wow Abby, that's a really great [Lego] tower!"
Abby: "It's crappy. It's crap."
(She meant to say something else, but I'm not sure what!)

While saying prayers...
Abby: "Bless baby sister to come over."

Abby: "ROOOOAARR!"
Me: "Whoa, are you a monster?"
Abby: "No, I'm just Abby."

While standing next to me on a chair while I cut onions...
Abby: "My eye is squishing."

After hurting her eye...
Me: Abby, is your eye okay?
Abby: It will feel better when we go to Friendly's.

While checking out my pregnant belly...
Abby: Mommy, your belly button is funny. You need to go to the doctor and fix it.

While rubbing my leg...
Abby: What's that?
Me: My leg.
Abby: What's on it?
Me: Ha! Hair.
She proceeded to touch her armpit...
Me: Does daddy have hair on his armpit?
Abby: Yeah. I want some!
(No sweetie! I can assure you you don't.)

Abby walked into the bathroom as I was cleaning the shower using vinegar...
Abby: It smells like puke in here.
