We went to Linvilla Orchards again--this time we picked some peaches. We got there early because it was supposed to be a hot, humid day and the predictions were correct. We were sweating at 8:30 a.m.
The girls enjoyed the hayride. There were only two other people on our way to the trees, which made for a particularly bumpy ride.
Abby loved helping pick the peaches (but she likes eating them even more.)
Clara enjoyed touching the rotten peaches on the ground. There were a lot of them so it pretty stinky in the orchard. Yuck. The poor girl tripped and landed on a twig and scratched her leg so her experience was tainted.
Photography by Abby: Pretty good action shot.
There's a cool playground that we didn't check out last time because it was really crowded. There are a bunch of different wooden trucks, trains, boats, etc. with things to climb on and slides to go down. We had fun spending time in there.
Clara liked saying "hi" to the chickens/turkeys/peacocks. (See those pigtails? Sigh.)
Sam and Abby went through a maze. They made a few wrong turns and Abby was concerned they would never get out.
After we were all good and sweaty and Clara, particularly her new cut, were filthy, we went and bought some fresh apple cider doughnuts and headed home.
Is little Clara turning into a redhead?
