He is Abby's first cousin on my side, but 25th overall. (Yeah, Sam has a big family!) There is something about him being my sibling's kid that makes him extra special. Maybe it's becase we share some genes!
We just love him already and can't wait to go meet him in a couple of weeks.
I completely agree! I love Matt's sisters kids, but my sisters kids just seem closer to me somehow. I think Matt feels the same way though, just in reverse. I think it is human nature.
