Last Few Weeks

We gave Allyson her baby shower before we all left for the summer/for good. It was a Nautical Theme and probably the cutest shower we've done to date. Abby got to come be with the big girls. I promised her that if there was a shower on a Saturday she would be able to come and the day finally arrived.

We went to the Zoo with the Adams and the Padillas. The weather was awesome and we all had a blast!

We went over to the Adams' house for Mother's Day. Sam and Abby made chocolate covered strawberries and the girls loved them!

We had our annual Goodbye Picnic. The boys had fun playing volleyball. The moms had fun chatting and the kiddos played the day away.

Sam's class.

Sam's row in the pre-clinic.

The girls makind silly faces. They were cracking us up.

Grant enjoyed sitting up in this stroller. Such a big boy.

Feeding the ducks one last time.

More Graduation

Sorry I've been MIA. We've been busy, busy getting settled in our new place. I'm waiting for some new photos to come in the mail to hang on my walls and then I'll take pictures of our new digs.

I thought I'd post some pictures of Sam's actual graduation day. Thanks to Ankit and Sarah since I didn't take any.

Us and the Ringers. We're so glad we got to spend our four years together. We're sure going to miss them.

Preschool Graduation

Abby had a little graduation ceremony with her preschool class. They marched in, sang songs and told about their favorite parts of preschool. Abby said her favorite part was reading books.

I got a little emotional during it all, thinking about Sam's upcoming graduation and how big my Abby is getting.

I'm so glad we did this little preschool group. I didn't love teaching when it was my turn but it was such a good experience for Abby and it was nice to have some special time with Clara when Abby was away. Totally worth it!

Easter Festivities

We've done a few Easter crafts and had Family Home Evening lessons about Easter throughout the month. We like to really make our holidays last.

We dyed Easter eggs. I think this is the first photo of our whole family. Probably won't be framing it.

It was fun to have Grammy and Grandpa here to celebrate the holiday with us.

We were glad to be in town for the annual Easter egg hunt this year. The kids had fun playing at the park while the parents hid the eggs. It was a beautiful day outside--the first we've had in a while. Grant stayed home with the grandparents.

Most of the kiddos. There were too many to fit on our camera.

Clara was very into the egg hunt this year!

Love this action shot!

I couldn't get them to look at me.

On Easter morning we had an egg hunt at home.

The girls loved opening their gifts.

Grant looked very handsome. He was a good boy for his first day at church.

Our family of five!

My three wonderful kiddos! When Abby saw these picture she said, "I'm prettier than Clara!" Ha! And so it begins...

A Robot Baby Shower

The night before Grant's big arrival, my friends threw me an adorable baby shower! The shower was scheduled for the day of the induction so they made a quick schedule change. It was nice to have something fun to do instead of sitting around thinking about the next morning.

The shower was robot-themed and everything turned out so cute.

These are the wonderful girls that planned the party. Sarah, Tiff and Allyson are such wonderful, talented women and I'm blessed to have them as friends.

I have been so blessed with amazing friends in Philly! I'm going to miss these girls so much!

Clara Turned TWO

Our sweet little Clara turned two on March 4. I can't believe how big she's gotten. The time flies by too quickly.

Clara is such a joy. She is hilarious. I find myself cracking up at her little personality all the time. Sometimes she's being totally mischievous and I just can't get mad at her because she's so dang cute.

She loves her sister. Sometimes Abby treats her as her personal slave but Clara doesn't seem to mind. I was the same kind of loving little sister though, so I understand where she's coming from. ha!

She is such an independent spirit--nothing like Abby. The morning of her birthday, Abby was at preschool and she was playing by herself in the bedroom with the door closed. She wanted nothing to do with me.

She is totally gorgeous. I wish I had a dollar for every time somebody commented on her red hair. I would be a rich woman.

She was excited to open her presents but I think her sister was even more excited.

Clara's party was a pajama party so we got her these new cupcake jammies.

The girls had to try out the new doctor's set right away. Abby had some jealousy issues but Clara was a sweetheart and happily shared her new loot.

These are the party favors. The tags say, " I'm 'CEREAL-sly' glad you came to my party!" I came up with that on my own and I thought it was pretty creative. In the world on Pinterest, I don't find myself being creative very often.

We had pancakes with fruit and nuts, yogurt, bacon and sausage, grapes and doughnut holes. The one bummer was that Sam and I were in the kitchen for the first half of the party making food. That's why I don't have very many pictures.

Clara's "cake" was these cake batter pancakes.

She blew out the candle but didn't eat any of it. I think she was too busy having fun with her friends.

These girls are such buddies. They were being so funny sitting on this chair.

We also had a cereal necklace station and some other cute decorations I never took a picture of, of course.

It was a fun party with lots of friends celebrating with us.

As I write this, Clara is looking at the pictures singing, "Happy birthday to you..." Oh, how I love her.
